Gold & Goose

Toprak Razgatlioglu won for the second time this weekend and took his 63rd career win in World Superbikes.

After winning the Superpole Race at the Czech Republic World Superbike Round, Toprak Razgatlioglu is now equal for the second most wins in the series history, as he has 63 race wins to his name.

Nicolo Bulega finished second in the second race this weekend as he was not able to beat Razgatlioglu once again. Even though he was closer to the two-time Champion, he made a mistake at Turn One and lost over a second to the #1.

Danilo Petrucci was on the podium once again as he managed to hold on to third place. The Italian was 5.943 seconds behind Razgatlioglu but only 0.080 seconds ahead of the fourth-place rider.

Sam Lowes put the pressure on Petrucci as he battled with his fellow Ducati rider for the podium. However, the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team rider could only manage a fourth-place finish.

Alvaro Bautista made a few mistakes in the early laps, but was able to fight through and hold on to a solid fifth-place finish.

Iker Lecuona continued his decent form in the Czech Republic as he finished the Superpole Race in sixth place and was 0.188 seconds behind Bautista.

Alex Lowes was the top bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team rider for the second time this weekend. However, he only managed seventh after losing out to Bautista and Lecuona.

Xavi Vierge was able to put both Honda riders inside the points as he was two places behind his teammate in eighth place.

Completing the points was the top Yamaha rider of Andrea Locatelli, from the Pata Maxus Yamaha WorldSBK Team.
