Fabio Quartararo returns to pole position for the fourth time in the 2025 MotoGP season as he was able to outqualify the Ducati riders.

For the first time since the British Grand Prix, Fabio Quartararo will start from pole position after setting the pace in Qualifying at the TT Circuit Assen.

The French rider has been strong during the Practice sessions at the Dutch circuit as he topped Practice on Friday afternoon and Free Practice Two on Saturday morning.

After previously claiming three pole positions during the 2025 season, Quartararo was quietly confident that he would be able to repeat his qualifying performance this weekend.

"You know, I did not want to say it because to say it is one thing, and to do it is another," Quartararo told TNT Sports.

"I am feeling pretty happy to be in pole position. The goal was to be on the front row, so we did a great job.

"Hopefully, we can turn this pole position into a great result."

Despite other riders using their competitors as markers for their best laps in the Saturday morning Qualifying session, Quartararo chose to go alone.

The 2021 MotoGP World Champion admitted that he prefers to ride alone, and it feels 'pretty nice' to claim pole on your own.

"Being behind someone at this track for time attacks is not a big issue," he explained.

"But I like to be alone, always make my lap times alone, I think it is pretty nice to do it like that, and I am used to that.

"It was great, and I think this afternoon will be a fun one."

Quartararo will be joined by Ducati Lenovo Team rider Francesco Bagnaia and BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider Alex Marquez on the front row of the grid.
