BSB Knockhill, Free Practice One Results | Storm Stacey set the pace in the opening session

Storm Stacey grabbed the top spot in Free Practice One, with the Championship contenders outside of the top ten.

In the opening session of the weekend, it was Storm Stacey who grabbed top spot in British Superbike Free Practice One on the Bathams AJN Racing BMW.

Danny Kent was the top Yamaha rider as he put the McAMS Yamaha R1 into second place on the timesheets and was 0.100 seconds behind Stacey.

Home hero, Rory Skinner, started his weekend off on a positive note as he was the top Ducati rider and ended the session in third place for the Cheshire Mouldings squad.

Tommy Bridewell was the top Honda rider in Free Practice One as he was in fourth place on the Honda Racing UK machine.

Making it five different manufacturers inside the top five was Christian Iddon on the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki ZX-10RR.

The remainder of the top ten was made up of Honda riders; Fraser Rogers was in sixth place on the TAG Honda, with Luke Hedger and the Whitecliffe CDH Racing Honda in seventh.

Charlie Nesbitt was the lone MasterMac Honda rider inside the top ten as he finished the session in eighth place.

Completing the top ten were the DAO Racing Honda duo of Josh Brookes and Lee Jackson in ninth and tenth place.

The top three in the Championship were outside of the top ten with Leon Haslam in 11th, Bradley Ray in 12th, and Kyle Ryde in 13th.
