Hungary WorldSBK, Free Practice Three Results | Sam Lowes continued to lead the way

Sam Lowes returned to the top of the timesheets as he led the way in Free Practice Three on Saturday morning.

On Saturday morning, it was Sam Lowes who continued to control the timesheets at the Balaton Park Circuit as he led the way by 0.171 seconds over the rest of the field.

Toprak Razgatlioglu was once again the British riders' closest challenger, but the Turkish rider and the BMW could not match the Ducati.

Andrea Locatelli ended Saturday morning in third place as the top Yamaha rider, as he finished Free Practice Three in third place.

Barni Spark Racing Team and Danilo Petrucci ended the opening session of day two in fourth place, but were 0.541 seconds behind Lowes.

In the latter moments of the session, Iker Lecuona jumped up the order into the top five as he set a lap time that put him into fifth place.

Nicolo Bulega continued to struggle around the Hungarian circuit as he ended the session in sixth place and was 0.907 seconds behind Lowes.

The GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team ended the session in seventh and ninth place with Remy Gardner in seventh and Dominique Aegerter in ninth.

Splitting the two GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK riders was the Pata Maxus Yamaha rider, Jonathan Rea, who ended the morning in eighth place.

Completing the top ten was British rider Ryan Vickers on the Motocorsa Racing Ducati Panigale V4 R.

British riders Alex Lowes and Tarran Mackenzie missed out on the top ten as the duo finished in 15th and 18th place.
