Andrew Irwin returned to a British Superbike podium for the first time since 2024 after securing three podiums at Cadwell Park.
Heading into the Cadwell Park British Superbike Round, Andrew Irwin had not featured on a BSB podium since Race One at Brands Hatch in July 2024.
However, after a year's wait, the Honda Racing UK rider was able to return to the podium not just in one race, but in all three throughout the Bank Holiday weekend.
In Race One on Sunday, Irwin had been fighting in second place until he was pipped by Kyle Ryde on the last lap and had to settle for third place in the opening race of the weekend.
On Monday, the Northern Irishman was not going to back down as he took the Honda Racing UK squad to two further podiums with a third place in Race Two and a second place in Race Three.
"This weekend has been incredible," Irwin said after claiming podium finishes in all three races at Cadwell Park.
"In the last race, I think Kyle [Ryde] had a little bit more pace than what we did, and I thought I would have more tyre at the end. But honestly, he was so consistent, and I was absolutely tapped out trying to stay with him.
"Credit to him, but Honda has transformed our season. Across the last three or four rounds, we have been much more consistent and inside the top ten. So, to be on the podium three times this weekend is fantastic.
"On to Donington Park now, we have four races there, I won there in the past, and I am looking forward to a strong final four rounds."
After a successful seventh round of the 2025 British Superbike Championship, Irwin has moved up three places in the standings and is now 10th.
