France WorldSBK, Free Practice One Results | Toprak Razgatlioglu took control on Friday morning

Toprak Razgatlioglu led the way in the opening World Superbike Free Practice session at Magny-Cours.

In the opening World Superbike session of the weekend, it was Toprak Razgatlioglu who took control on the timesheets for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team at Magny-Cours.

Sam Lowes was the top Ducati rider in the first Free Practice session as he ended up in second place on the timesheets on his ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati.

Factory Ducati rider, Nicolo Bulega, ended the morning in third place and was 0.031 seconds behind Lowes at the end of the session.

Xavi Vierge was the top Honda rider as he ended the opening Practice session inside the top five with a 1:37.208 lap time that put him in fourth place.

Danilo Petrucci was the third Ducati rider to feature inside the top five as the Barni Spark Racing Team rider ended up in fifth place.

The top Yamaha at the end of the opening session was the Pata Maxus Yamaha rider of Andrea Locatelli, who was in sixth place.

Garrett Gerloff was able to get his Kawasaki ZX-10RR inside the top ten on Friday morning as he ended up in seventh place.

The bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team got one of their two riders into the top ten as Alex Lowes ended the session in eighth place.

Michael van der Mark has not won a World Superbike race since his Race One win at Magny-Cours in 2024, a ninth-place start to his weekend at the track in 2025 is not what he would have expected.

Completing the top ten was the two-time World Superbike Champion, Alvaro Bautista.

Three British riders finished outside of the top ten: Tarran Mackenzie was in 13th, Jonathan Rea was 15th, and Ryan Vickers was 21st.
