BSB Assen, Warm-Up Results: Kyle Ryde in his Sunday best as he tops dry warm-up

Kyle Ryde resumed at the head of the timesheets during morning warm-up ahead of Sunday's action for Round 9 of the 2025 British Superbike Championship at Assen.

The BSB points' leader was back on form in dry conditions a day on from rescuing a solid top six finish in the sodden weather of the opening race on Saturday.

Indeed, the Nitrous Competitions Yamaha rider had looked off the pace in Race 1 as a he struggled to find his form in difficult conditions.

Nevertheless, Ryde kept his riding clean in a race strewn with errors and crashes among other riders - including title rival Bradley Ray, who crashed out of a potential podium - to bring home a sixth place finish. Though only half-points were awarded, with Ray not scoring, Ryde heads into Sunday's action with a 35 point lead.

Behind Ryde on the warm-up timesheets was Tommy Bridewell on the Honda Racing UK machine, while first and second from Race 1 - Scott Redding and Leon Haslam - were third and fourth.

Ray completed the top five as he looks to bounce back from his galling DNF, while Josh Brookes, Max Cook, Charlie Nesbitt, Rory Skinner and John McPhee completed the top ten.

Race 2 will see Christian Iddon get away from pole position on a front row comprising himself, Ray and Haslam.
