Toprak Razgatlioglu stood on the top step of the podium at MotorLand Aragon for the first time in his World Superbike career.
For the first time in his World Superbike career, Toprak Razgatlioglu won for the first time at MotorLand Aragon as he won his 13th race in a row, narrowly beating Ducati at a circuit where they have been dominant in recent years.
Nicolo Bulega looked beaten heading into the final lap, but the Italian threw everything at it and challenged the Turkish rider until the final corner, and was only beaten by 0.030 seconds.
Sam Lowes was able to secure his fifth World Superbike podium of the season as he finished in third place in the opening race of the weekend and was in the fight for victory.
Danilo Petrucci's podium drought continued as he has missed out on the podium for the last nine races and finished in fourth in Race One at Aragon.
Rounding out the top ten was the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team rider, Alex Lowes. The British rider continued his run of strong form and has been inside the top six in the last five races.
Andrea Iannone was unable to match his performance from Race One at Aragon in 2024, but he had a solid result of sixth place in the opening race of the weekend.
The top Yamaha rider in Race One was the Pata Maxus Yamaha rider, Andrea Locatelli. The Italian was the only Yamaha rider inside the top ten at the chequered flag.
Despite starting at the back of the grid due to a penalty, Axel Bassani was able to fight his way through the grid and finished in eighth place.
Xavi Vierge continued his run of top ten finishes and was in ninth place in the opening race of the weekend on the Honda CBR1000RR-R.
Completing the top ten was the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team rider, Michael van der Mark.
British riders, Jonathan Rea, Ryan Vickers and Tommy Bridewell finished outside of the top ten with 13th, 14th, and 19th place finishes. It was a difficult race for Tarran Mackenzie as he failed to finish due to a technical issue.
