Storm Stacey and the Bathams AJN Racing BMW team set the pace on Friday morning at Oulton Park.

With his last flying lap of the opening British Superbike session of the weekend, Storm Stacey was able to top the timesheets in the wet conditions for the Bathams AJN Racing BMW squad.

Tommy Bridewell was hopeful that the wet conditions could aid him and Honda this weekend at Oulton Park, and his weekend started on a positive note as he was in second place in Free Practice One.

After winning his first race of the season last time out at Assen, Christian Iddon started Round 10 at the sharp end as he ended the opening session in third place for the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki squad.

MasterMac Honda rider, Charlie Nesbitt, made his way into the top five on Friday morning as he ended the session in fourth place.

Rounding out the top five was the 2018 British Superbike Champion, Leon Haslam. The Moto Rapido Ducati Racing rider won at Oulton Park earlier this season and will want to repeat his results this weekend.

Just outside of the top five was the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki rider, Max Cook. After struggling at Assen last time out, the 22-year-old will be looking for more positive results this weekend.

The Whitecliffe CDH Racing Honda squad and Luke Hedger had a positive showing in Free Practice One as they started the weekend in seventh place.

Scott Redding made his return to Oulton Park on Friday morning, as he did not compete at the circuit at the start of the season. The Hager PBM Ducati rider started his weekend in eighth place on the Ducati Panigale V4 R.

British Superbike rookie Scott Swann and the Send My Bag Racing by IWR Honda squad were inside the top ten in Free Practice One, as they ended up in ninth place.

Completing the top ten was the LEW 8TEN Racing BMW Motorrad rider, Davey Todd.

The Championship contenders of Kyle Ryde and Bradley Ray started the weekend down in 14th and 16th places on their Yamaha R1's.
