Leon Haslam set the pace in the Friday afternoon Pre-Qualifying session for the Moto Rapido Ducati Racing team.
The first Pre-Qualifying session of the season was ended early after a Red Flag ended proceedings due to the weather conditions at Oulton Park. But before the session ended, Leon Haslam set the fastest time for the Moto Rapido Ducati Racing team.
After a promising morning, Christian Iddon continued his strong form for AJN Steelstock Kawasaki as he ended the day in second place on the ZX-10RR.
Charlie Nesbitt ended the day inside the top three. After ending Free Practice One in fourth place, the MasterMac Honda rider was in third in Pre-Qualifying.
Two-time British Superbike Champion, Josh Brookes, has made his way into Q2 as he ended Friday in fourth place on his DAO Racing Honda.
After a disappointing Free Practice One, Bradley Ray was back on the pace for the Raceways Yamaha squad, and found himself rounding out the top five on Friday evening.
Wet weather specialists Fraser Rogers and Storm Stacey secured themselves Q2 spots for the TAG Honda and Bathams AJN Racing BMW squads, as they ended the day in sixth and seventh places.
Reigning Champion and current British Superbike Championship leader, Kyle Ryde, was outside of the top ten in the morning session but jumped up to eighth place in Pre-Qualifying.
Max Cook remained inside the top ten at the end of a positive first day at Oulton Park. The AJN Steelstock Kawasaki rider was in ninth place on his ZX-10RR.
Completing the top ten was the 2023 British Superbike Champion, Tommy Bridewell. After ending the morning in second place, he dropped down to tenth in the Pre-Qualifying session.
