Nicolo Bulega ended Toprak Razgatlioglu's hat-trick hopes at Estoril with a dominant performance in Race Two.
It had been a dominant weekend for the reigning World Superbike Champion, but in the final race of the weekend Nicolo Bulega bounced back and dominated Race Two at Estoril.
Toprak Razgatlioglu could not complete a perfect hat-trick at Estoril, as the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK team rider finished in second place, and was clearly disappointed with his M1000RR.
Alvaro Bautista finished in third place in all three World Superbike races at Estoril, and the Spaniard claimed third place in the Championship standings.
Despite setting his sights on a podium on Friday, Alex Lowes was unable to feature on the rostrum this weekend, but finished fourth in Race Two.
Rounding out the top five was the top Yamaha rider, Andrea Locatelli, from the Pata Maxus Yamaha squad.
Xavi Vierge claimed his best result since the Superpole Race at Balaton Park as he finished in sixth place for the Honda HRC squad at Estoril.
Australian rider Remy Gardner completed a solid weekend as he finished inside the top ten in all three races, with a seventh-place finish ending his weekend.
Axel Bassani backed up his eighth-place finish in the Superpole Race with an eighth-place finish in Race Two for the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team.
Six-time World Superbike Champion, Jonathan Rea, was suffering at the end of Race Two and dropped back through the order to ninth place.
Completing the top ten was the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team rider, Michael van der Mark.
