FS-3 Racing 'safely assume' a rider will remain with the team next season

FS-3 Racing Team Owner Nigel Snook has hinted at the AJN Steelstock bimota rider line-up for the 2026 British Superbike season.

After running the Kawasaki ZX-10R for the last ten British Superbike seasons, the FS-3 Racing squad will switch to the bimota KB998 Rimini for the 2026 season.

When the announcement was made that the team would be switching to bimota next year, there was no mention of their riders for their debut year with the KB998 Rimini.

For the 2025 season, the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki squad fielded Christian Iddon and Max Cook on their ZX-10Rs. After 10 Rounds, Iddon and Cook find themselves fifth and ninth in the British Superbike Championship.

However, at Oulton Park, AJN Steelstock bimota Team Owner, Nigel Snook, spoke to our colleagues at Crash.net and was questioned about the team's 2026 British Superbike rider line-up.

"Our contracts with the riders say that until the end of October, two weeks after Brands Hatch, we’re honour-bound to give each other exclusive first refusal," Snook explained.

"That doesn’t always work because people get in people’s ears.

"What I will say is I have been helping and supporting Max Cook since he was 15, and I think you can probably safely assume that Max will be with us again next year.

"Christian’s [Iddon] our senior rider, so we have to have a bit more of a conversation there.

"Ideally, we’ll say something at Brands Hatch, but we don’t want to put people under pressure or have ourselves put under pressure. If all else fails, there’s always the show at the NEC.

"So, since we’ve announced the bike, let’s just say we’ve had a few more phone calls than usual."
