GR Motosport have decided to end its 30 years of racing on a high

Gold & Goose

GR Motosport have decided to end its on-track racing activities after 30 years, following a successful 2025 season in WorldWCR.

After ending the 2025 FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship in third place with Chloe Jones, GR Motosport has announced that it will end its on-track racing activities.

With their direct commitment to running a racing team coming to an end, GR Motosport will now focus on expanding its commercial operations and growing its rider management programme.

GR Motosport has experienced recent success with Chloe Jones in WorldWCR and Storm Stacey in the British Superbike Championship. However, the team also has a rich history with title success in the European Superstock 1000 Championship with Karl Harris in 1999.

A statement from GR Motosport reads:

"Following another very successful season, this time finishing 3rd in the Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship, GR Motosport feels that now is the right time to bring an end to our on-track racing activities.

Looking ahead, GR Motosport will focus on expanding our commercial operations, with a greater emphasis on Marketing, Sponsorship Acquisition, and Activation. The Team also plans to grow our rider management programme, an area Brent believes his ethos can bring positive change to the current motorsport landscape.

Brent Gladwin:

“After time to reflect and acknowledge the fantastic season for the Team with Chloe, and conversations with my family and team, I feel now is the right time to retire from directly running a race Team.

Over the past 30 years, the ethos of GR Motosport, led by myself has never changed in the mission of finding and developing young talent. We have remained true to our goals throughout. I’m proud that our Academy continues to demonstrate the success of that main aim, as riders and team personnel who have passed through our program are now competing at the top levels of WSBK, WorldWCR, BSB, and beyond.

We’ve had a fantastic season with Chloe, and now I will take the time to enjoy that success and look forward to the next exciting chapter for GR Motosport.

Proudly, the GR Motosport logo will continue to be displayed and represented in both the British Superbike Championship on Storm Stacey and on Chloe Jones 2026 onwards.

I would like to extend my profound and sincere thanks to everyone who has been a part of GR Motosport's racing Story.

So many incredible people and companies have come together, creating wonderful friendships and making history along the way.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with countless passionate professionals from championship organisers and medical teams to race circuit staff. And of course, we are endlessly grateful for our amazing fans and supporters, especially the many families who share in the joy of our sport together.

And to all the many fantastic team members that have been a part of the journey, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all.”
