Lap times from the qualifying session at the 2026 MotoGP Brazilian Grand Prix in Goiania.

Fabio Di Giannantonio took pole position in Brazil, beating Marco Bezzecchi after both riders came through Q1.

Both also crashed on Saturday morning, and both at turn four. Bezzecchi's came in FP2, only 15 minutes before Q1 was due to start, while Di Giannantonio's came in Q2 but crucially after he'd set the time that got him pole position.

Marc Marquez was another rider to crash at turn four, and also in Q2. He crashed a lap after Pedro Acosta crashed at turn four just a few metres ahead of Marquez on-track, but while the current MotoGP points leader ended up ninth at the end of qualifying, Marquez was third and on the front row.

Fabio Quartararo took a remarkable fourth for Yamaha, the Aprilias of Jorge Martin and Ai Ogura who join him on the second row.

Fermin Aldeguer impressed, too, with seventh in his first qualifying of the season. He beat his teammate Alex Marquez who was eighth, ahead of Acosta.

Francesco Bagnaia was another Q2 crasher, the Italian going down on his first flying lap. Yellow flags cost him a couple of laps on his final run, and he qualified 11th, between Johann Zarco and Toprak Razgatlioglu on the fourth row.
