Results from the Moto3 race session at the 2026 Brazilian Grand Prix in Goiania.
The first start in the race saw Max Quiles and David Almansa largely repeat what they did in Thailand, streaking away at the front of the field despite starting 11th and 14th, respectively. However, Almansa crashed around the halfway mark, and Quiles was alone at the front with a four-second lead.
Only a lap later, though, that was wiped out by a red flag for a crash for Scott Ogden. The British rider was okay, but the short lap time at Goiania meant it was not possible to clear his bike away before the field came back around the following lap.
The race restarted over five laps with Quiles on pole, and the Aspar rider immediately escaped at the front in the opening lap of the restart.
Behind, his teammate, Marco Morelli, was making his way through the field and eventually got into second place at the beginning of the third lap. He then started taking time out of Quiles, and he got to his back wheel by the end of the final lap of the race, but he was unable to make pass in the limited time he had.
Quiles' win takes him to the top of the championship standings after Almansa's non-score.
The battle behind for the final podium position was won by Veda Pratama, who became Indonesia's first grand prix podium finisher in just his second grand prix.
Alvaro Carpe took his second fourth place in as many starts this season, ahead of Guido Pini who rounded out the top-five.
Rico Salmela was sixth, ahead of Valentin Perrone, Adrian Fernandez, Casey O'Gorman, and Hakim Danish who completed the top-10.
