Results from the Moto3 race at the French Grand Prix, the fifth round of the 2026 season.
Max Quiles took victory in a wet and chaotic French Moto3 Grand Prix, in which conditions started wet and dried out substantially throughout, although it was still firmly damp by the end of the 13-lap race - shortened to allow time for pre-race wet weather practice since the Moto3 riders hadn't had any wet weather running all weekend.
Quiles led the race from start to finish, beating Adrian Fernandez comfortably in the end. Matteo Bertelle completed the podium for his first rostrum since he was injured after the COTA race last April.
Veda Pratama took fourth, ahead of Joel Esteban and Guido Pini in the top-six. David Almansa, Adrian Cruces, Eddie O'Shea, and Hakim Danish rounded out the top-10.
There were crashes for multiple riders, including two for Brian Uriarte who finished anyway. Marco Morelli crashed out of second place but remounted, and David Munoz was last of the 18 finishers after an early crash.
