Max Quiles was fastest in Moto3 FP2 in Hungary, setting a new lap record at a 1:45.148. He was almost 0.3 seconds clear of the field, and only the top-five were able to join Quiles in the 1:45s. Indeed, only the top-five were able to lap within a second of Quiles, with the 1:46.169 set by both Brian Uriarte and Rico Salmela falling just outside that threshold.
Ruche Moodley, Casey O'Gorman, and Jesus Rios completed the top-10.
