Results from the race at the 2026 Moto3 San Marino Grand Prix at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

Max Quiles won the 20-lap race at Misano, beating David Almansa by 0.021 seconds on the run to the line.

Almansa had led the first 19 laps of the race, his advantage over the chasers reaching up towards a second a times as he, Quiles, and Brian Uriarte escaped from the rest of the field.

Almansa and Uriarte had both chosen the soft-compound rear tyre, whereas Quiles had the medium, and this seemed to make the difference in the final few laps for Quiles as he closed back in on Almansa.

The Aspar rider didn't make a move before the final lap, and when Almasa covered the inside at turn 14 his chances seemed to be gone, but in covering the inside two turns later at the final corner Almansa cost himself exit speed, which allowed Quiles to out-drag him.

Uriarte consolidated third behind Almansa, his first podium since the summer break, having been cut adrift by just over a second in the closing laps.

Matteo Bertelle won out in the battle for fourth, beating Valentin Perrone, Rico Salmela, and Joel Kelso who completed the top-six.

10 seconds stretched behind Kelso to Adrian Cruces in eighth, while Marco Morelli and David Gonzalez rounded out the top-10.
