Results from the race at the 2026 Moto3 Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring.

Max Quiles took the win in Austria, beating Brian Uriarte by two seconds after David Almansa crashed out of the lead at turn 2b on lap eight.

Uriarte had already been cut adrift by 1.5 seconds or so by then and had Alvaro Carpe for company. The former was able to close the gap down to close to a second at one stage, but in the final laps Quiles proved to have the better pace as he extended it back out to 2.3 seconds by the finish.

Carpe lost ground to Uriarte, finishing seven seconds off the win in the end, but he had a big gap behind - 13 seconds to Eddie O'Shea who beat Guido Pini to fourth on the run to the line.

Pini took fifth, ahead of Casey O'Gorman, Adrian Cruces, Marco Morelli, Hakim Danish, and Ryusei Yamanaka who completed the top-10.

Joel Esteban was in the top-five at one stage but received a plethora of long lap penalties for exceeding track limits.

David Munoz had also been running fourth at one stage, but seemed to begin to tire in the final third of the race. He was passed by Veda Pratama into turn four and crashed after running through the gravel. He then remounted but retired in the pits.

Pratama was given a long lap penalty, which he failed by going outside the white lines, and so had to take a second one and ended up 13th.
