Oulton BSB: Parts shortage sidelines Bridewell

Tyco Honda's Tommy Bridewell will watch tomorrow's British Superbike double-header from the sidelines at Oulton Park after a spectacular crash yesterday means his team have run out of parts.

The Devises swearbox was flicked off his ex-Josh Brookes HM Plant Honda Fireblade in free practice and added to the damage incurred when he crashed in the second Brands Hatch race last weekend.

"I'm a bit gutted really but that's motorbike racing I suppose. We just don't have all the parts to get the bike back together in time which is a shame for us and for all the people that come to support me. I'm staying at the track, though, to cheer on my team-mates," said Bridewell, speaking to bikesportnews.com this morning.
