Swan Yamaha's Tommy Hill has said he may have to get his elbows out tomorrow at Oulton Park's British Superbike double header in order to take the double win which looks like is coming his way.
The Lingfield man took pole position today ahead of team-mate Michael Laverty and the Samsung Suzuki of John Hopkins but says he is ready for a scrap if one becomes available.
"Everybody is pushing so hard out there and this is an aggressive track but we have been happy with the pace we have shown already and to qualify on pole is another great result for the Swan Yamaha team. We have been consistent so far and now we have to look at the race tomorrow," said Hill.
"I will just get the elbows out and go for those wins and podium credits! We are feeling confident and we are aiming for two podiums tomorrow again; it won’t be easy but we just need to get stuck in, get to the front and stay there."
