Relentless Suzuki's Josh Brookes will only ride at 90 per cent during this weekend's British Superbike round at Croft if that is what it takes to get to the finish of both outings and score some much-needed points.

The likeable Aussie has spectacularly crashed out of half the races so far and now wants to settle down and get finishes on the board to reward his team for all the faith they have put in him so far.

"Two big crashes haven't been the ideal start. The bike is great and the team is great but I need to get some points so I will ride at 90 per cent to finish both races this weekend if I have to," said Brookes, speaking to bikesportnews.com from one of Darlington's finest pound shops.

"I didn't feel like I was near the limit in either crash but I obviously was so I will do what it takes to repay the team for their hard work. The bike feels great and I love riding it. It's still early in the season and we are still in a good position."
