GBMoto Honda's Tristan Palmer cruised to the win in today's Metzeler National Superstock race at Croft's British Superbike round, leading from lap one to the chequered flag over a 12-lap encounter.
The former BSB rider took command as the pack went through turn one nicking the lead from the Padgett's bike of Adam Jenkinson at Tower and immediately putting a gap on the field as HM Plant Honda's Jason O'Halloran found a way into second on lap three.
As Palmer stretched away, MSS Kawasaki's Danny Buchan got the better of Richard Cooper's Buildbase BMW to take fourth spot and set about chasing Jenkinson for the final podium spot but Cooper was able to match his pace for a couple of laps.
As soon as Buchan was clear of the Leicestershire man, he tried to ride around the outside of Jenkinson into the Complex which set him up for a move inside just before the hairpin. Jenkinson tried to come back into Clervaux but ran into the gravel and crashed.
That handed Jimmy Storrar fourth place, Cooper fifth, John Ingram sixth, Joe Burns seventh, Luke Quigley eighth, John McGuinness ninth and David Johnson rounded out the top ten.
Championship points:
Palmer 66
Buchan 61
O'Halloran 51
Cooper 34
Storrar 29
