BSB | OULTON BRITISH SUPERBIKES: HASLAM SPEAKS OUT

Leon Haslam has spoken exclusively to www.bikesportnews.com about the incident that saw him and Tom Sykes come together at Hizzy’s Chicane at Oulton Park British Superbikes.
Haslam said: "It’s a shoot. It’s a joke to be fair. It’s a racing incident. OK, I take responsibility for what happened but that’s what happens when you have close racing.

"When Cal and Kiyo came together last year, which was a serious T-bone, nothing was said. You don’t do this sort of thing intentionally. Tom wasn’t at fault. I braked, he braked and he touched my back wheel. We will see what happens at appeal.
"It’s a sad thing to happen when we could have had two wins. The first race was awesome and I should have had it. I am looking forward to Brands though."
