CADWELL BSB: DYE IN CRITICAL CONDITION

British Supersport rider James Dye remains in a critical condition this morning following a crash on the first lap of his race at Cadwell Park yesterday.

Details of the incident are not yet known but it is believed his head injuries were caused after colliding with another bike in the incident.

He was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by air ambulance were he remains in Intensive Care.
A statement from MSVR this afternoon said:
Following his accident yesterday (Monday) in the British Supersport Championship race at Cadwell Park, James Dye remains in a serious but stable condition in Hull Royal Infirmary but is now able to breathe without the use of a ventilator.

Other riders injured yesterday in separate, unrelated accidents are also recovering.

Stu Wilson is in Leeds Hospital awaiting surgery for an open fracture of his left arm. Yaron Salinger has had a CT Scan to assess possible neck injuries which has proved negative and is expected to be discharged from Lincoln Hospital tomorrow (Wednesday).
