Strong paddock rumours suggest James Ellison will sign for the new GSE Yamaha team this week and join Leon Camier in what could be a British Superbike tour de force for the 2009 season.
Ellison has been in the wilderness since his MotoGP days and has been looking for a factory BSB ride. Camier has been so cool about his 2009 options, it's suspected he agreed terms with team boss Colin Wright some time ago.
Wright has a history of signing riders on covert two year deals and team owner Darrell Healey will want to have a strong rider line up to take into not only this BSB season, but also a potential move into World Superbikes for 2011.
