Jentin Honda British Superbike star Steve Brogan broke his fibula in the Snetterton horror crash on Sunday but the injury was only revealed by an X-ray last night.

The Liverpudlian racer slipped off on oil left by Alex Lowes' MSS Kawasaki in the same crash as Simon Andrews. Andrews has to undergo a major operation on his leg which includes a bone graft this week.

Brogan Tweeted this morning: "Thought I was ok for oulton until I found my fibula is snapped, after an x ray last night. Gutted. Brands now."
