Appleyard Yamaha's Jack Kennedy will return to British Supersport action this weekend after a crash at Thruxton saw him damage his spine and have to wear a brace in order to get fit for the rest of the season.
Kennedy has been lying second in the championship prior to the crash and wants to be back at the sharp end sharp-ish. He completed a test at Oulton Park earlier in the week and pronounced it good.
“It’s great to be back on the bike and especially to be able to move around freely without any pain. I’m looking forward to being in the thick of it at Brands Hatch this weekend as I need to elevate myself up to the sharp end from my current eighth position," said the Dublin youngster.
