Former Tyco Honda British Superbike rider Tommy Bridewell has spent today testing the Motorpoint Yamaha which was vacated by potless Loris Baz before last weekend's Brands Hatch round.

Bridewell, who lost his ride with the Tyco/Quay Garage team mid-season, spent the day lapping at a breezy Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire but it is not yet known whether is was a one-off or if the Devizes swearbox is in line to partner James Westmoreland, who wasn't present, for the rest of the season.

The 'strawberry blonde' rider would have to find a budget to take and it would be an interesting mix of personalities to have in one garage, that is for sure.
