Harrogate British Superbike rider Dan Linfoot will be back in the championship for the Silverstone round and will partner Peter Hickman in the Tyco Honda squad.
Linfoot started the year with Robin Croft's Sorrymate.com Honda team but after an amicable split (which actually was), Linfoot has been taking the odd ride for Wilmax in the Spanish Moto2 series but always with one eye on opportunities in BSB.
"I wanted to come back into the series by the end of the year as the last two rounds are tracks I like and I want to put on a show. The Tyco Hondas are great bike, as Peter has shown this year, so I'm really looking forward to Silverstone," said Linfoot, speaking to bikesportnews.com this morning.
"It will be important to finish the season on a high and to have a team-mate like Peter who has pushed the likes of Josh Brookes this year will not only give me some setup data, but also provide the right kind of motivation as well. It's great that Tyco have given me the chance to race with them for the last part of the season so I must thank them."
