Donington BSB: Second-race engine swap for Hill

Tommy Hill's Swan Yamaha crew are swapping the engine in his YZF-R1 for the second British Superbike race this afternoon after the Lingfield man found himself down on power in the opening encounter where he finished in third.

Hill had to make a couple of lunges from a long way back in order to make make up places, one of which saw him push HM Plant Honda's Shane Byrne wide at Goddards and forced them both back two places.

"The boys are changing the engine now. I was having to come from so far back, especially with Shakey, I made a lunge from about six bike lengths back, didn't quite make the turn which let Hopkins and Michael underneath me," said Hill speaking to bikesportnews.com after the race.
