HM Plant Honda's Jason O'Halloran will make a long-awaited comeback to Metzeler National Superstock 1000 action this weekend after a long lay-off forced by a big crash at Knockhill.
The popular Australian hasn't been in a position to even swing a leg over a bike after he had operations to remove his spleen, fix various other internal injuries and pin his broken left leg following the first-corner pile-up.
“I can’t wait to get back on the HM Plant Honda Fireblade this weekend for the first time since my crash. I had waited to make a return when I felt that I would be able to ride like I need to and when I felt I had got my strength back to where it needs to be to race. Recently I have had a couple of rides on a Honda CBR1000 and it felt good, so I am looking forward to rolling out again on Friday and then getting some good results before the end of the season," he said.
