CJ Fund reveal final three in Honda Fireblade draw

On Sunday evening following the fantastic final British Superbike race of 2011, BMW WSB rider Troy Corser  pulled out three very special tickets from the Honda Fireblade draw.

Honda UK very kindly donated a brand new Honda Fireblade at the beginning of the season to the CJ Fund. A staggering 29,985 tickets were sold throughout the season.

All proceeds from the draw go directly back into medical support for the riders. Purchase of the X-ray machine in 2008 has saved countless hours waiting in NHS A&E departments for X-rays and the Fund continues to pay for maintenance and personnel to run it.

The CJF also provides the on-site physiotherapy services based at the Medical Centre at each event. These services are extra to all the track medical facilities already provided by MSVR as the organisers and the aim is to help riders return to the track as quickly and easily as possible.

All three lucky tickets will now go into a final draw at the CJ End of Year Awards.  This takes place on December 3 at The National Motorcycle Museum at the NEC Birmingham. All participants will attend this evening.

Lucky winners:

Mr Murphy 14021

Mr J Wright 12772

Mr A Henshall 09298

Over the Brands Hatch Weekend the CJ Fund also held their end of year auction which was well attended by public and riders alike, special thanks to WSB’s Eugene Laverty for donating his race leathers and to Chaz Davies. The evening raised around £15,000 and donations are still coming in.

A very big thank you to each and everyone that took part this year, also for all the valid support which the CJ Fund have been given throughout this season from Public, Riders, Race Safe Marshals, BSB Medical team, all from MSVR and Stuart Higgs (Race Director)
