Rutter and Hickman in frame for MSS Kawasaki seats?

If you could nip to Ladbrokes and stick a pony on who was going to be in Nick Morgan's MSS Colchester Kawasaki team, you'd more than likely get evens on Michael Rutter and Peter Hickman filling the seats.

Hicky has been doing his best to put people off the scent with his Twitterings, saying he was just passing Scotch Corner and the like, but Swan Yamaha boss Shaun Muir soon saw through that, Tweeting that Hicky had signed for a Plymouth-based operation. He is a scamp.

In reality, Morgan needs the experience of a Rutter to keep sponsors happy with regular top-five finishes and the inexpensiveness of a youngster like Hickman, provided there isn't another celebration disaster, should keep the wolves from the A20 GP Championship runner-up's door. It also helps that Rutter has his personal sponsors in the shape of Batham's beer.

Of course, none of this will be confirmed until Wednesday and then we only have to wait for the Moto Rapido line-up, a two-man Padgett's team, Quay Garage's pairing, the Splitlath Redmond signings... that's a lot of Wednesdays.
