Primo Kawasaki team manager charged with drugs offences

Dan Cheevers, the team manager of Primo Kawasaki, has been remanded in custody by Westminster Magistrates on a charge of conspiracy to supply cocaine.

Mr Cheevers (45) from Troon Crescent, Wellingnborough, Northants was arrested on Friday following the discovery of eleven kilos of cocaine and £170,000 in cash at a Northamptonshire haulage firm. A further five arrests were made and £30,000 seized in searches across south London.

Joseph McCory, aged 47, of Northumberland Avenue in Welling and John Reed, aged 64, of Capstan Way in Southwark were charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and money laundering. Robert Greenhill, aged 61, of Park Mead, Sidcup was also charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine.

All four were remanded in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (January 28) and will appear at Southwark Crown Court on April 5. Four others – two men, 56 and 41, and women 25 and 38 – were arrested and have been bailed until March.
