Talented Irish youngster Josh Elliott has split with the Primo Kawasaki team and is now on the hunt for a ride in the Metzeler National Superstock 1000 Championship for 2012.
The split is part of the fallout from recent events concerning the team and its former manager Dan Cheevers so team owner Pete Extance was left without a choice but to release Elliott in order for him to find a new seat.
"We are left with no option than to drop out of the Superstock 1000 class and have explained the situation to Josh and his family. Both parties were aware of the issues for the last few weeks and Josh has been released," said Extance.
"We understand he is making progress in acquiring another ride for 2012. All at Pr1mo Bournemouth Kawasaki wish Josh the best of luck and hope to work with this up and coming talent in the future."
