Frenchman Freddie Foray has signed to replace Simon Andrews in the PR Kawasaki British Superbike team and will ride alongside Gary Mason for the 2012 season in the team which has just taken on Quattro Plant as a title sponsor.
This is Foray's first foray into the series after seeing much success in the World Endurance Championship. He was crowned champion with SERT in 2010 while competing in the French Superbike series and has also won the not-quite-so-coveted-as-it-once-was Bol d'Or.
"Coming to the UK has been a goal of mine and I would like to thank Quattro Plant Kawasaki for this opportunity. It will be very exciting making my debut with the team and the Championship as the level of riders this year is very high and I think it is a good step for me. It will be a challenge, which I am looking forward to, so I am keen to get out on the Quattro Plant Kawasaki as soon as possible and learn the tracks as they are different to our tracks in France," he said.
