Swan Yamaha's Noriyuki Haga isnt' worried about having to go into this weekend's British Superbike second round at Thruxton having never seen the track before as he says he learns tracks fast and is looking forward to the pace of the place.
The Samurai of Slide, who didn't have a great debut at Brands Hatch where rear grip deserted him in appalling conditions, says he likes the width and passing places he has seen of Thruxton on television, so is going in all guns blazing.
“It is the first time for me to visit Thruxton and when we arrive there I want to have a look at the track so I have an idea ready for practice on Friday, but I learn the tracks fast so I am not worried. I was disappointed with the result at Brands Hatch but now I am looking forward to Thruxton as on TV I have seen it is very fast and seems quite wide to make passes. I hope that this weekend we can have a good result for everyone as I want to be fighting for a good position in both races," he said.
