Samsung Honda's Michael Laverty topped the official MCE British Superbike timeheets at Brands Hatch this afternoon and says he is now looking for his frist championship double win at the Kent track.

The Toomebridge man just pipped Alex Lowes for top spot in the Indy circuit test, lapping under a tenth of a second quicker than the WFR Honda man, while series leader and reigning champion Tommy Hill was nearly three tenths of a second off the pace.

?"I would like to do my first double win as I really enjoy riding the Grand Prix circuit which is fast and flowing and where I won in the last round of last year. ?Now the focus is on achieving strong points and podium credits but there is going to be plenty of rivalry for those wins," said Laverty.
