American youngster PJ Jacobsen will return to the Metzeler National Sueprstock 1000 series at Donington Park's MCE British Superbike round next weekend after a shakedown at Mondello on Saturday.

The New Yorker tested on Tuesday at Donington Park alongside Tyco Suzuki team-mate Josh Brookes in preparation for next week’s event, and will also ride this weekend’s Masters event at Mondello Park in Ireland.

“I had so much fun the last time I was here, so it’s great to be back. I got here on Sunday morning and was at Donington on Tuesday to test. It’s a pretty cool track and the fast flowing nature will suit my style. I’m also looking forward to Mondello this weekend as it’s all about track time and as I’m here for seven weeks I can also do a bit of sight seeing,"
