Northern youngster Tom Grant will see out the rest of this year's MCE British Superbike season with the Quattro Kawasaki squad including a trip to the Assen circuit in a couple of weeks' time.
The former Supersport star joined the team days before the last Cadwell Park round and had something of a basptism of fire after having only one day's testing before getting back out on a bike for the first time in a couple of years.
"It was pretty tough to be honest, especially after only driving lorries for a while and getting on something that fast was a shock to the system. I ended up pulling in during both races with arm-pump but I think Donington will be a little bit kinder," said Grant, speaking to bikesportnews.com this morning.
"I'm really looking forward to finishing the season with the team. They're a good bunch of guys and Karl [Harris] has proved what can be done on the bike, so this weekend will be a lot more than just more testing."
Grant is looking for a couple of backers to help him with the ride. If anyone can help, they should email here
