Bradley Hughes will join the Repli-Cast Racing team for the rest of the 2012 Monster British Motostar series after rider Tom Carne decided to retire from racing.
Hughes himself was forced to stop after Cadwell Park when he ran into monetary problems but Repli-Cast boss Gary Dawson saw an online plea and decided to give the Midlander a shot.
"Due to what happened with Tom and the statement I saw on Bradley's website, I just couldn't ignore it, it pulled hard on my heart-strings and shows how determined this young man is," said Dawson.
"Racing is a very hard game for all and the commitment from every rider makes me proud to be part of it. This is an exception and just hope we can get Brad up there where he belongs."
