Flying Finn Pauli Pekkanen has joined the WKBikes Suzuki squad for a tilt at next year's British Superbike Championship.

The team, which is also backed by Hel Performance, are looking to build on their top-ten performances from this year and believe the improving Scandinavian is the man for the job.

"I'm very happy and I'm excited to be back in the British Supersport Championship again. I started to talk to (team boss) Dave at Brands Hatch and a couple weeks later I had chance to test their Suzuki for the first time. The bike felt good straight away and as Suzuki is a proven race winner I'm very confident that we will have a good year in 2013. I would like to thank Dave for giving me this chance and also big thanks to my personal sponsors who makes this possible," said Pekkanen.
