Former Metzeler National Superstock 1000 Champion Steve Brogan will switch to Kawasaki power for the 2013 season in an attempt to regain the crown he won in 2008.
The likeable scouser will run his own team, backed by Kawasaki UK and Direct TV, and hopes to emulate the success of reigning champ Keith Farmer who is moving up to British Superbikes and put behind him a tough 2012.
"This year was a tough one for me but as a former champion I know that with the right ingredients I can repeat my previous success. The formula is simple; I want to go into 2013 knowing I have the right machinery beneath me and the right support to make a serious attack on the title," said Brogan.
"With that in mind, I would like to thank Chris Percy of Direct CCTV who continues to be the driving force behind my team. Now all the parts of the jig-saw are in place to retain the Superstock title for Kawasaki."
