Harry Stafford, who sustained a head injury following an accident during qualifying practice for the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 race at Oulton Park last Saturday continues to recover in the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.

Harry is now off the ventilator and fully out of sedation. He is starting to talk and responding to words and commands and will be transferred to a ward shortly.

The Stafford family have been overwhelmed by the messages of support during this worrying period. Harry's racing hero, multiple Superbike World Champion Troy Bayliss and multiple 500cc World Champion Mick Doohan are among many to have expressed their best wishes via social media.
