Former MCE British Superbike star Tristan Palmer will return to the Pirelli National Superstock team at Knockhill after signing for the Rapido Sport Ducati squad.
The Midlander has a wealth of experience riding in Superstock and will ride alongside incumbent Lee Johnston when the Irishman is sufficiently recovered from his broken leg.
“I’m really excited about it – I've never raced on a Ducati before and am looking forward to learning a new machine. It’s a lovely looking bike and it’s done really well in Superstock championships elsewhere, so I can’t wait to get out there and start pushing," said Palmer.
"We’ve got a couple of days testing lined up before Knockhill so I can get a good feel for the bike. The Rapido Sport Racing team are spot on – they know what they’re doing with the setup on the bike."
