Knockhill BSB: Ellison hoping 'bad luck is over'

Milwaukee Yamha's James Ellison is hoping the bad luck that has tainted his podiums in the opening three rounds of the MCE British Superbike Championship is now over and he can show his true potential at Knockhill this weekend.

The Kendal man has been subject to some small problems, like a visor issue at Brands Hatch, which have conspired against him but has also bagged some useful points which see him firmly in the Showdown top-six. He returns after the TT break refreshed after some Texas sun.

“I have spent some time back in Texas during the break and I am ready to come back focused for Knockhill. I have had a mixed start to the season with three podiums at the first three rounds, but also some bad luck which hopefully is over now," said the soon-to-be-father.

"I know we have the package and when it all comes together we will really be able to show our true potential. I can’t wait to get back out on track now and try to get good, solid results in both races for the Milwaukee Yamaha team this weekend.”
