Ducati Coventry/JHP’s Marty Nutt holds a narrow nine point advantage in the Ducati TriOptions 848 Challenge as the title chase reaches Donington Park this weekend but his closest rival Jonathan Railton was a double victor at the circuit back in May.
Nutt’s brace of third places at Oulton Park gave him an extra edge as the season builds for a thrilling climax with three rounds remaining. Boast Plumbing/AOR’s Railton arrives knowing that he had a dominant performance at Donington Park in May and wants a podium return after missing out at Oulton Park.
Stockbridge Racing’s Leon Morris was back on the podium last time out and with just five points separating him from Dennis Hobbs the leading contenders won’t be giving an inch whilst Darren Fry, Mike Edwards and Daniel Fowler are snapping at their heels.
Ben Field had his best result of the season last time out and the Rapido Sport Racing Ducati rider is aiming high this weekend whilst Sean Neary is also aiming for another top ten finish.
