CF Motorsport's Callan Cooper stormed to his second consecutive Pirelli National Superstock 600 victory with an emphatic lights to flag winning performance.
The Manxman took the holeshot from pole position and was unchallenged for the duration of the 14-lap race, getting within two tenths of a second of the lap record. The talented youngster now lies fourth in the championship, after collecting four consecutive podium finishes.
Gearlink Kawasaki's Luke Hedger crossed the line in second place, making up for his crash at Cadwell Park. The reigning Motostar champion pulled back seven points on championship leader Jordan Simpkin, cutting his advantage down to ten points with now just two rounds remaining.
Simpkin held third place on the last lap but Haribo Triumph's Joe Collier dived under the inside at the Melbourne Loop to take the final podium spot. Simpkin fought back at the last corner, however, moving through on the brakes at Goddards but Collier hung on around the outside to get level as they charged towards the chequered flag. The pair were shoulder to shoulder, leaning on each other with Collier eventually coming out on top by just 0.008 of a second.
Michael Robertson claimed a lonely fifth place with Gearlink's Mark Wilkinson fighting off Mason Law and James Lodge to take sixth place. Be Wiser Kawasaki's Nick Anderson and HWW Racing's Grank Whitaker rounded out the top ten.
