British Superbike returnee Noriyuki Haga has had his first taste of Kawasaki power during a test at Snetterton today where he joined the Rapid Solicitors team for a shakedown of his ZX-10R.
The Samurai of Slide hasn't raced a Kawasaki before but after spending the morning getting the essentials like footpegs and bars in the right place, he was straight down to business at the Norfolk track.
After getting settled in, the Japanese former World Superbike star was reportedly lapping consistently in the high 1'49s bracket, according to spectactors with stopwatches at the circuit. Alex Lowes' pole time from this year was a 1'48.106.
Haga will make his debut with the team at Assen this weekend, a circuit he intimate knowledge of and where he has been a winner on several occasions with Yamaha and Ducati.
